Ashley started practicing yoga in college for the physical workout and loved it. It wasn’t until she was in her 30s that she began exploring what it meant to use yoga as a “breath practice”. By focusing on the ujjayi breath, inhaling and exhaling through the nose during the practice, she began to tap into the mental benefits of yoga that extended off the mat.

Yoga has given Ashley greater self love and body awareness, a deeper lung capacity and a more peaceful mind. Ashley chooses to teach so she can share this experience with others. In Ashley's class she aims to offer a challenging vinyasa sequence paired with a fun playlist and a light hearted attitude, with an emphasis on the breath and an intentional savasana.
