My Sozo Story

What do I love about SOZO YOGA? EVERYTHING!!!! From my first day of walking thru the doors of SOZO I felt a welcoming feeling of belonging. All of the instructors greet you by your name and impose a sense of “belonging “to this practice. It is like having good friends to cheer you on to being your Best!

SOZO YOGA has classes for all levels and needs. Some days you may want a more challenging practice while other days a more “basic “ time. The most appropriate quote from all the instructors is “It’s Your Practice, I’m only here to guide you” resonates the focus SOZO has for me.

My yoga journey began last year within 3 months of moving to Trilith. I have always been involved with some sort of physical activity so with SOZO YOGA being in my backyard I thought “here is something NEW to try”. Yoga is the best “something new” I could have experienced.

I have gained more control of balance and strength since my start at SOZO.

My first realization of my new accomplishments was when I was cleaning my shower door. As you know that in this process, you squat to squeegee, then stand, and repeat until the task is completed. When I bent my knees and squatted I actually stood back up on my own without holding on to something or any other assistance. AMAZING!!! This was my “turning point “ to my Yoga practice.

I have to give Ashley credit for encouraging me to try yoga after she witnessed my struggle to stand up while we were talking at a Trilith function. She said “Yoga will fix that” and she was right.

I’m about to start my 2nd year at SOZO and can’t wait to experience new physical accomplishments along with the piece of mind that I am giving my Mind, Body & Spirit the appreciation it deserves.

Thank you Kara & SOZO YOGA!!!
